1.) Introduction
Ok, so I've decided to start working on my first mod, albeit a fairly large one, and it's going to be GREAT ( hopefully ) and if you don't like it, at least I'll walk away with a great deal of constructive criticism. What I am trying to do is create Vault DC, also known as Vault 80. In the storyline and lore, vault 80 has no background in the game story ANYWHERE, so it's perfect for this! So far I have the entrance created the first room cluttered with things that would be needed after first arriving, things like rad-away, stimpacks, buffout, vault suits, security gear, etc. I also have the clinic and birthing room made ( uncluttered, just empty rooms, working on cluttering AFTER I'm done the rest of the vault ) and I am making a nursery atm in the G.E.C.K as I post this. There will be updates released regularly, major credits to Mercury00 for his template of the "Make Your Own Vault Door" so I have him to thank for my vault doors and gear door, I still need to create my own vault suit (anybody wanna link a tut in the comments?)
2.) What Will be in the vault
Ok, so by now you probably wondering ?well ok, this guy seems to have a huge idea but will it be any good?!? Well I assure you this is what I am planning on putting in the following:
1.)A few quests for the residents of the vault such as gathering items for the vault maintenance, and such.
2.) Quests that allow more depth into the game?s storyline
3.) New NPC?s with quests that involve the vault?s storyline
4.) An armory that you will be able to get access after doing the vaults main story line.
5.) Maybe a few new items and stuff like that.
6.) A target range near the armory for you to practice in.
7.) Much more, please comment, any idea will be very welcome.
3.) Vault Storyline
Vault DC is a vault where the Vault-Tec Executives and their families went when the bombs fell, this vault was also known as Vault 80, this vault was outfitted with much more then all the other vaults, this vault ensured they would survive, and not just survive, but thrive! This vault let the executives live in the laugh of luxury, completely safe in their vault. However after 200 and a few generations later, things are starting to fail, not big things but still it is a slight nuisance to them, so not only is that happening but the situation is starting to heat up when two of the residents starting arguing if they should open the vault door or not to explore the outside and help to benefit mankind.
