本作是开发商Tragnarion在2010年的PC版游戏《The Scourge Project》改良而来。最多四位玩家将扮演雇佣兵“回音小队”（Echo Squad），前往位於Nogari岛的Nogari企业执行任务，渗入这栋已被“异形感染的设施”，找出双面间谍、摧毁Nogari企业，并且取得“Ambrosia”能源的控制权。
