While getting access to one of the computers in the Abstergo Entertainment office building in 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, you can find information about Abstergo partnering with Blume Corporations, the company responsible for ctOS in Watch_Dogs. Here's what the Blume brochure says:
