游戏讲述的是主人公由于新娘之死而失去了生存的意义，故他选择了再同一个地方，用同样的方式自杀，然而主人公自杀没有成功，陷入了昏迷。他的灵魂进入了逝者的世界，在那做了囚犯。他用日记告诉我们关于逝者世界的一切。
