I got suspended for the screenshots, that kind of thing's against the TOS.
And yes, I did get fired from Konami. Here's the story in a nutshell. I was pretty much a noob in the video game industry. In the original thread I started, you may remember me saying that I got hired as a translator a little over four months ago- before that I had never worked in the video game industry or anything to do with entertainment. I just didn't realize how secretive everything was supposed to be, it wasn't ingrained in my head how forbidden it was to say anything about unreleased games. Everything I posted in the Lost in Blue 3 threads might have gotten me in trouble too if they found out about that. When you're hired you DO sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) agreeing that you will never give out information about unreleased games... but all I can say is when I got hired there was a lot of paperwork, I signed a lot of things, and that was over four months ago... not all of it stuck in my head, you know what I mean? So when I posted those screens, honestly I didn't think anything of it, it didn't occur to me that I was doing anything wrong. And for chrissake somebody warned me on here, I forget his screen name but he was calling "fake" and saying "If you really do work for Konami, won't posting those screens get your ass fired?" or something, but I was just like "three screens? Big deal, who the eff cares?" But I should have listened to him, because any of you fans could have told my dumb naive ass, YES, it IS a big deal and they care very much.
Basically that's it, I was a foolish noob who should have known better. I hope other people can at least learn from my mistakes... saying anything about unreleased games is very much forbidden.
