The song title is "Let's Ride Into the Sunset Together".
I find out that Tony Vice and Mickie McGlone first sang this song, maybe in late 80's. Tony is really an old, cowboy now.? The album "Tehachapi Wind", or a newer album in 2008 "Music From Redwing Ranch", found on amazon.
Maybe in the late 80's when Tony made this song, he said:
"I always admired Smiley Burnett’s Ridin’ Down the Canyon to Watch the Sun go Down? and wished I had written it. Let’s Ride Into the Sunset? Together is the result. I get royalty checks for this one. Marty Rifkin played steel and Mickie McGlone sang with me. Thanks."
Lyric:
I've wrangled, and I've rambled, and I've rodeoed around.
I've never once thought about settling down.
But darlin', the moment that I laid eyes on you,
I knew my ramblin' days were through.
Made up my mind a long time ago.
When the right man came along, somehow I'd know.
Heart as true, eyes as blue, and his smile as white,
As a Western sky.
(Chorus)
Let's ride into the sunset together,
Stirrup to stirrup, side by side.
When the day is through, I'll be here with you.
Into the sunset we will ride.
I'll be your cowgirl, you'll be my cowboy.
You'll be my Dale, I'll be your Roy.
When the day is done, homeward we'll be winding.
Like a movie with a happy ending.
