This mod changes the new Scania S and R dashboards to feature "LOCAL RADIO", to fit better with Koenvh's ETS2 Local Radio program, on FM 94.0 as a replacement of "George's Radio".
I'm unsure if the font is exactly the same but it looks as identical as I could get it to be.
This mod is in no way connected to Koenvh and/or his program, I just like to use his program and finds this modification to be more "realistic" than the stock "George's Radio".

HOW TO CHANGE THE TEXT:
It is possible to edit the text to feature whatever text and/or frequency you'd like. To do this you'll need software like Paint .NET or Photoshop along with a DDS plugin. I personally use the plugin from nVidia in Photoshop, there's no need for a plugin in Paint .NET as it includes DDS support by default. I think you can use GIMP2 as well but I don't know for sure how to export as a .dds file.
You can find the file under "...\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\227300\1287270917\universal\material\ui\dashboard\scania_2016\", it's called "dashboard_computer.dds" - the default location is under "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\22730\1287270917" but if you've moved Steam's download folder it'll download to there instead. ![](static/image/smiley/default/smile.gif)
In Photoshop you need to open the file, a little window named DDS Read Properties will pop up, I simply load using default sizes and with mip-maps. Then you need to go to channels and enable Alpha 1, now you should see the text. Simply edit it to feature what you wish, do remember that the text must be vertical, also make sure you're actually putting text on and not just making a selection, I somehow managed to do that. After your edits are complete, disable Alpha 1 and save it as "dashboard_computer.dds" in the mod folder with "DXT3 ARGB 8 bpp | explicit alpha" and "no mipmaps" checked.
In Paint .NET you can simply open the file, and edit away, again do remember that the text must be vertical. Export it by saving it as the same file ("dashboard_computer.dds") in the mod folder, remember to check if "DXT3 Explicit Alpha" is selected, the rest you can leave be.
After a reload of the mod, you should be able to see your changes in-game.

Happy trucking.
