Seeing as how no one has done any in-depth research in to console command codes for talents, I thought I might share what I've come across.
---===Main Guide===---
Enable console by making a shortcut to the main executable (not the launcher); Dragon Age 2\\bin_shipdragonage2.exe.
Right click on the new shortcut and select "properties".
In the target box, add -enabledeveloperconsole such that the path looks like; "YOURFILEPATHHERE\\Dragon Age 2\\bin_ship\\DragonAge2.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole
You may also have to change your keybinding rules so that the ~ key is set to console (consult other guides, one of which can be found here: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console_(Dragon_Age_II)#Accessing_the_console).
Start the game via the shortcut with the character of your choice (note: Rogue/Warrior start for Bethany, Mage start for Carver).
At any point before crossing over to for the 1-year wait, open the console and use use the following series of console commands to unlock the full tree for your subclass (note that these must be input individually, and the console is invisible thus some tedium is required).
Warrior:
runscript addtalent 10100
runscript addtalent 10101
runscript addtalent 10200
runscript addtalent 10201
runscript addtalent 10300
runscript addtalent 10301
runscript addtalent 10400
runscript addtalent 10401
runscript addtalent 10500
runscript addtalent 10501
runscript addtalent 10600
runscript addtalent 10601
Rogue:
runscript addtalent 20100
runscript addtalent 20101
runscript addtalent 20200
runscript addtalent 20201
runscript addtalent 20300
runscript addtalent 20301
runscript addtalent 20400
runscript addtalent 20401
runscript addtalent 20500
runscript addtalent 20501
runscript addtalent 20600
runscript addtalent 20601
Specialization:
ID="208001" Duelist
ID="207001" Shadow
runscript addtalent 208001 解锁【角斗士】职业
runscript addtalent 207001 解锁【影舞者】职业
Mage:
runscript addtalent 30100
runscript addtalent 30101
runscript addtalent 30200
runscript addtalent 30201
runscript addtalent 30300
runscript addtalent 30301
runscript addtalent 30400
runscript addtalent 30401
runscript addtalent 30500
runscript addtalent 30501
runscript addtalent 30600
runscript addtalent 30601
This will unlock the base skill trees for each class. If done correctly, each each new skill tree should be visible in your abilities menu. It is critical to add the first two in each class in order to equip class specific weapon types (sword & shield, two-handed, archery, etc).
Once you have added all the requisite trees, you can make the determination whether or not to keep your base class (I chose Rogue/Mage in order to have Bethany as my companion, as opposed to Carver, who annoys me). Leaving for the year's quest will soft-lock your default specializations, which must be added manually later if you want them (will update with their codes).
---===Changing Base class===---
It is also possible to change your base class via the addtalent command. Doing so will NOT add the other sub-class talent trees. It will ONLY affect certain dialogue/story triggers as well as which specialization talent trees are unlocked at level 7 after passing the 1-year event.
Warrior:
runscript addtalent 10000
Rogue:
runscript addtalent 20000
Mage:
runscript addtalent 10000
Doing this will affect the dialogue tree options that show up as well as how certain npcs react to you. Be aware that if you are changing your base class you should remove the talent associated with the previous class (via runscript removetalent XXXXXX), otherwise you can generate some fairly odd (game breaking) errors.
---===Notes===---
The Skill Tree UI will not support more than 12 trees on-screen at any given time. If you are using more than 8 tree 'slots' when you unlock your class-specific specializations, the UI will flip out (all the trees will be layered on top one another).
To fix this; you must remove some trees from your UI view.
This can be accomplished by using the remove talent console command on the root node (eg: runscript removetalent XXXXXX). Doing so will generally NOT cause you to lose any talents you have already spent point on, however any further progress in the tree will be impossible unless you temporarily remove a different tree and add the one you want to work on back in.
Be careful though, removing a core class tree can cause you to lose access to certain items you might be equipping (sword & shield, two-handed, archery, etc). So it is usually bes to remove a tree you have maxed out or won't be investing in any time soon/ever. You can also remove unused specialization trees, though I have not yet recovered all the relevant talent codes, so experiment with caution.
Check the console page on Dragon Age Wikia for more specific commands and a guide to setting up the your game to support the dev console;
http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console_(Dragon_Age_II)
I will be updating the command list there to reflect some of the discoveries I've made.
Edit Your save file C:\Users\XXXXX\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\Characters\Garrett\Garret.xml. We all can add our talents/abilities from current game.
