《生化危机5》早已于2009年登陆PS3、Xbox 360和PC三平台，但在2010年推出的整合了新增作战章节《迷失噩梦》和《绝望逃亡》的《生化危机5：黄金版》却并未登陆PC平台。这对许多PC玩家来说是不小的遗憾。
《生化危机5：黄金版》包含原版游戏和一个《未颂的故事合集包》DLC。
《未颂的故事合集包》中的DLC均为首次登陆PC平台，包含以下内容：
Lost in Nightmares 追加章节1- What happened that night?
