We've confirmed the existence of a bug that was discovered after Title Update Ver. 5.1
was released on January 22 UTC.
We are planning on fixing this in a patch to be released in the near future.

The details of the bug are as follows:
When using the following weapons, performing certain movements will cause sound effects
to not playback.

- When using the Light Bowgun or Heavy Bowgun, the "firing" sound effect would not play when using Normal Ammo 1-3.
- When using the Insect Glaive, the sound effect would not play when firing the mark for your Kinsect.
- When using the Hunting Horn, the sound effects would not play during a Performance.
- When using the Sword & Shield or the Dual Blades, sound effects would not play when you swung the swords.
- When using the Great Sword, the sound effect would not play when performing a kick.
We are investigating other possible instances.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused players. We will update later with details on the fix, and appreciate everyone's patience.


Important:
The latest version of MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD is revision number 165889.
You can verify the version number in the top-left corner when you launch the game
in windowed mode.
Keep in mind that you can only match with other players who have the same update
version as you.
