《切尔诺贝利恐怖袭击》游戏描述全副武装的恐怖分子攻占了普利亚特区域，使欧洲处于一片恐慌之中。恐怖分子要求在24小时内向他们提供100亿欧元，否则将引爆切尔诺贝利核区域，届时整个北半球将陷入核爆的危害之中。在考虑各个因素之后，派出最优秀的特殊行动战士潜入恐怖分子基地破坏可能造成核爆炸的设施成为了最后的选择。
