《危险之人》游戏有着丰富的剧情故事，穿越的剧情可以说是本作的最大卖点，围绕着小女孩 Ana Eberling 展开，她的爸爸 Max Eberling 在她还很小的时候就神秘消失了，父亲的神秘失踪一直让她心怀疑问。就在某一天，她发现了一个可以让人穿越时空的神秘装置。除了不断地利用它来寻找父亲的线索外，还要着手解决一些“历史性问题”，比如各种富有时代象征的灾难和一些本身可以避免的重大事故等等，甚是有种拯救世界的意思。
