《魔法阵(The Magic Circle)》是一部“未完成”的第一人称奇幻冒险解谜游戏，你所扮演的主角被困在“开发者地狱(Development Hell)”。对你来说，游戏的设计者们就像神一样的存在，但他们连一项技能都没给你。在一个虚无缥缈的声音的指引下，你必须从这些所谓的“神”手里夺取开发工具，并在你前进的路上发掘出更多黑暗的故事。
并不像传统的解谜游戏那样只有一个解决方案，《魔法阵》中每个环境的不完整情况对你来说是个挑战，你需要用自己的方式来解决它。你要限制设计者的思维，学习他们的行为举止，并融会贯通来探索和征服这个还在开发当中的世界。你能够用聪明的头脑战胜这些“游戏之神”吗？
