      Matrix Games和Slitherine联手发布了二战策略新作《近距离作战：雾中黑豹》(Close Combat: Panthers in the Fog)。作为新版《近距离作战》系列的最新一部，《雾中黑豹》以诺曼底登陆后的莫尔坦之战为题材，展现德国第47装甲军团发起反攻，试图夺回被美国第30步兵师占领的战略要地而发生的激烈战斗。游戏采用改进后的引擎，更真实地重现当时的战场环境和各种武器装备及其作战效果，也包括士气心理上的影响。玩家可指挥50种不同的战斗单位参与35个战术任务，并可获得空中和炮火支援。《雾中黑豹》延续了《近距离作战》系列的即时暂停操作模式，图像和界面有所改进。时间设定紧接在诺曼底登陆之后，德军试图重整装甲力量击退盟军，双方在法国莫尔坦地区展开激烈的攻防战。游戏提供了真实的战场、部队、装备设置，玩家可调动从班队到营团级的作战单位在火炮和空中支援下投入战斗，并可使用附带的编辑器和联网功能。
