In typical CD Projekt RED fashion, the studio is spending a lot of time adding in content following the launch of a major title. It happened with the original Witcher, and it's happening again with The Witcher 2. On September 29 The Witcher 2 will be updated to version 2.0, a free update to all existing owners.

This update will include all nine packs of downloadable content so far released, an additional difficulty setting called Dark Mode, as well as an Arena Mode. The Dark setting will be almost as challenging as the Insane setting, though in Dark you can save, so it's not quite as frustratingly difficult. It's also feature unique 'dark' armor and weapons Geralt can find and equip throughout the course of the game.

The new Arena Mode is focused entirely on combat, challenging you to slash your way through increasingly difficult waves of monsters and rack up high scores to share with friends. And if your friends happen to have bailed out on The Witcher 2 because of its lack of tutorials will find the 2.0 update much more friendly, as it adds an extensive tutorial set.

All this content will also be included in the upcoming Xbox 360 version, which the entire studio is currently focused on finishing. Based on what CD Project RED's shown off so far, even though Microsoft's console isn't nearly as powerful as high end PCs, The Witcher 2 still looks really good.

这么有良心的开发商不多啊，游戏等于白送，DLC，更新还是接着送。。。不买正版支持实在太过意不去了。 就是！搞得我有点惭愧玩了。。。 回复 3# yzz007tsh
